Govex Platform Update: March 2026
This quarter has been the most significant release cycle for Govex since launch. We shipped six major capabilities that collectively transform the platform from a reporting dashboard into a comprehensive Intune management layer for IT teams and MSPs. This post covers everything that is new and where to find it.
The multi-channel alerting engine is now generally available. You can create alert rules that evaluate automatically after every data sync, catching compliance drift, stale devices, unencrypted endpoints, jailbroken devices, update policy failures, and disabled user accounts. Custom rules support threshold, exists, and stale condition types for monitoring scenarios beyond the built-in templates. Alert delivery supports email, Microsoft Teams webhooks, and generic webhooks, with the ability to notify multiple channels from a single rule. The dry-run feature lets you validate rules against live data before enabling them.
Warranty tracking integrates with Dell, Lenovo, and HP warranty APIs to provide automatic visibility into coverage status across your managed fleet. Govex uses serial numbers from Intune to query vendor APIs during each sync cycle, categorizing devices as active, expiring soon, expired, or unknown. The 90-day expiration warning helps you plan hardware refreshes proactively rather than discovering expired warranties after a failure. Warranty status is surfaced directly in device views alongside compliance and encryption data.
Fleet management gives MSPs cross-tenant visibility through a unified overview page. The organization health score combines compliance rate, encryption adoption, and patch currency into a single metric for each tenant, making it easy to compare clients and identify which ones need attention. Cross-tenant device search lets you find any device by name, serial number, or UPN across all connected tenants. The visual report builder replaces PowerShell scripts with a point-and-click interface for creating custom reports. Select entity types, choose columns, add filters, and export to CSV or Excel. Scheduled report delivery via email on daily, weekly, or monthly cadence eliminates recurring manual work. Fleet management and the report builder are both available on the Professional plan.
The dashboard itself has been refreshed with improved chart components, consistent styling across all pages, and shared UI components that provide a more cohesive experience. The notification channels configuration page in Settings makes it straightforward to set up and test email, Teams, and webhook channels.
